At Pink Energy, we know there is no one-size-fits-all solution for home energy needs. To design the solar panel system that fits your home and routine, we’ve developed a 3-step solar installation process. Here’s how it works:
Contact The Team
The process begins when you fill out an online form for a free quote. You’ll soon hear from a Pink Energy expert for a qualifying conversation. Together, you’ll talk through some of the qualities of your property that may impact your solar panel system. If you qualify for a custom system, we’ll schedule a free in-home consultation.
In-Home Consultation
Next, one of our experienced consultants will visit your property to further evaluate your home. We’ll also spend time reviewing your electric bills to better determine what size solar system will best meet your home’s power needs. We’ll then develop a custom solar proposal ready for your approval. With the go-ahead from you, we’ll begin installation day preparations.
Solar Installation
When installation day arrives, a team will work quickly and carefully to install your new solar panel system. In as little time as a day or two, we’ll have your solar panels mounted and our workspace cleaned. Following a passed inspection of your solar system, you need only receive a new meter from your utility company, and you’re on your way to potential savings on your electricity bill!4

Solar Panel Installation FAQs
Pink Energy’s solar panel systems are not one size fits all. We create custom solar systems for each customer’s unique energy needs. As such, it’s hard to give an estimate of what your solar panel installation could cost. However, generally the price will depend on your home’s current energy needs, what direction your home faces and how much sunlight your roof receives in addition to other such factors.
It’s possible to do, but we do not recommend it. Pink Energy’s qualified installation teams have the experience needed to ensure your panels are installed properly and in the best position to gather sunlight.
Our installation team only takes a day or two to have your solar panels up and running. It’s a quick process!
Yes, some permits are required to install solar panels. It’s likely your local government has some requirements in place before installation occurs. Pink Energy’s experts will help you with the majority of the permits as part of the installation process.
In nearly all cases, your roof warranty should remain intact. As long as the installation team did their job right (and our teams are experts), you shouldn’t have any problems with your roof’s warranty. We recommend that you should always double-check with your roof’s manufacturer or installer to confirm.
Permits needed to install solar panels vary by your own local government’s mandates. Your local government and local utility companies likely have specific requirements in place to satisfy local building and electrical codes. As a general rule, you can expect to have to file for a building permit, an electrical permit and possibly a solar photovoltaic (PV) permit.
This varies by neighborhood. However, you can expect to face some pushback from your HOA if your solar panels will face public spaces, such as an HOA-maintained park or road. Pink Energy will work with you to ensure that your solar panels are up to code and satisfy HOA requirements if at all possible!
Absolutely! Metal roofs offer a stable surface for solar panel installation, so there should be no problem in having both.
